We had our first hot air balloon experience this morning and it was a true once in a lifetime experience. I was nervous leading up to our experience but the entire organization was top notch and professional. Our pilot Antonio was terrific! He was fun, professional and made the experience even that much better. If visiting the Mexico City area I couldn’t recommend this company and experience any more!

We had a toast after as well to celebrate and it was apparently a tradition having a toast after flying! If you are afraid of heights, give it a shot still. It was worth it and super safe. Kudos to the other staffs as well they are very friendly and accommodating.
This package solves the hardest part of a Teotihuacan balloon ride from Mexico City: getting there before dawn. Our shared van collects you at your hotel around 4:30 AM, so you never drive in the dark or haggle with a taxi at that hour.
At the launch field the crew serves coffee, gives an English safety briefing and inflates the balloons in front of you. The pilot takes off at sunrise, when the air is calmest, and flies 45 to 60 minutes over the valley, the Avenue of the Dead and the two great pyramids.
After landing you raise a sparkling-wine toast and receive your flight certificate. Then the group drives to La Gruta, a restaurant built inside a natural cave, for a traditional Mexican breakfast. The van drops you at the Ángel de la Independencia on Paseo de la Reforma around 1:00 PM.
